The MARTOR SECUNORM SMARTCUT MDP is specifically designed for the food processing, pharmaceutical and other industries where product safety is critical. The handle is made from Metal Detectable Plastic (MDP), while the permanently integrated blade is manufactured from stainless steel. Both components are detectable by metal detectors and X-ray inspection systems, providing an additional layer of protection against foreign object contamination.

The blade is permanently integrated into the handle and cannot be replaced. This eliminates the risk of injuries during blade changes and prevents loose blades from entering the production process. After every cut, the blade automatically retracts into the handle, ensuring a high level of user safety.
